The National Food Reserve Agency (NFRA) extends its congratulations to Rev. Dr Howard Matiya Nkhoma following his swearing-in on 26 May 2026 as the new NFRA Board Chairperson.
During the ceremony, Rev. Dr Howard Matiya Nkhoma reaffirmed his commitment to providing strategic leadership and ensuring that the Board supports the vision of the President of Malawi, His Excellency Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, in strengthening national food security and ensuring that adequate food reserves are maintained for the nation.
He further emphasised the importance of collaboration, accountability, and effective oversight in advancing NFRA’s mandate of safeguarding Malawi’s strategic food reserves for the benefit of all Malawians.
NFRA looks forward to working closely with the Board and all stakeholders in promoting food security and building a resilient and sustainable future for Malawi.
